25 years as tech entrepreneur, exited Angel

Serial entrepreneur and executive leader with 18 years in capital markets and 20 years building market-leading technology. Ivan led Capital.com as CEO, scaling the platform to 17,000 daily active users and co-founding Currency.com — the world's first regulated tokenised securities exchange. Prior to that, he spent 15 years on the Senior Leadership Team at FTSE 250-listed IG Group, leading IT development of their trading platforms. An active angel investor and board adviser across FinTech, Blockchain, MarTech, MedTech and HealthTech.

Technical and economics-minded strategic leader with 40 years of experience in strategy, technical systems delivery, macro-economic theory, and research into innovation and productivity. David brings deep expertise in the intersection of technology and economic measurement, leading Opagio's platform development and the firm's research programme into intangible assets and productivity frameworks including the OECD Compendium and SNA 2025.

Mark Hillier

Chief Commercial Officer, Co-Founder

30 years in commercial property, brand expansion and PE advisory

Senior commercial property adviser and growth leader with more than 30 years' experience helping businesses expand, scale and create value. Mark has supported brands through periods of rapid national growth, helping leadership teams prepare for ambitious targets and successful sales to private equity. He has extensive experience advising occupiers, landlords and developers — including Legal & General, AEW UK Investment Management and Salmon Harvester — with a strong track record in commercial strategy, portfolio growth and market expansion. As Chief Commercial Officer, Mark drives Opagio's go-to-market strategy, client acquisition and revenue growth, building relationships with PE firms, fund managers and enterprise clients seeking structured visibility of intangible asset value.

Tony Hillier

Chairman, Co-Founder

MA, Balliol College, University of Oxford | Harvard Business School MBA with Distinction

Co-founder of Opagio and a veteran of institutional structured finance. Tony was an executive director at NM Rothschild & Sons, where he pioneered cross-border tax-leveraged leasing and complex asset-backed securities structures. He was CEO of GEC Finance, which held strategic investments for the industrial conglomerate and arranged industrial vendor financing. He served as a non-executive director of Financial Security Assurance in New York, a financial guarantee corporation specialising in triple-A default insurance for asset-backed securities. His experience in making intangible cash flows bankable underpins Opagio's approach to intangible asset valuation.
